The Armchairs are Too Small!

I look at the armchair again, both of them. I hesitate more now whether this is the living chair I wish to have. The sofa looks perfect and the coffee table as well, but the armchairs! I take a measurement tool and measure the chair one after another. I am right, this is not the size of the chair I need. I must talk to the store about this, and claim a replacement.
I don’t blame anybody at home. My wife of course does not understand the details of the chair though we both were to go to the furniture store to get a new set last month. My sister is also innocent at this matter and moreover my daughter – what she knows is just to sit relaxingly on the chair and sleeps. I did not remember that yesterday was the time of my new living set delivered to my house. I was kind of busy in the factory when my wife called me about the arrival of the furniture. Since the time was not allowing me to stay away from what I had been doing at time, I trusted my wife to take care of everything about the furniture.
The store does not seem to have it as a problem, they even apologize sincerely for the trouble they have caused; however, I must be very patient to wait for another month because the furniture they have is imported from another country. They said that the production only takes a week but land delivery could take more than two weeks. Oh my!
I talk to my wife about this matter and she listens to me carefully. She quietly and tenderly asks me whether the size really matters for me. I catch some deep meaning from her question and it really makes my mind open. Am I bothered with the size? What actually bugs me? Is the slightly different size causing me disappointed? Yes, but then, No that is Ok. I must accept this. It is just my egotistic disappointment because the store does not follow what I am saying. As a customer, I must be priority for them.
But again, my wife is right. There is no need to claim for the replacement as long as the chairs are fine, nice to sit, and good in performance. That is all.

Actual size of the required seats every person in one country to another can be different. As people asia, usually requires the size of the smaller seats. Maybe, before buying imported chairs, we also know Where the chair is imported. Does the chair is imported from countries that are relatively small population size?
can’t you find another chair store that sells the product you desire?Personally,if i have something in my house that i don’t like, i tend to rule it out from the main room and put it somewhere i don’t go to usually.
But a chair is a chair, as long as you can sit comfortably on it, i think its pretty fine by me.
yes, i agree with what your wife said… the next time you go for shopping, just be careful.
just see whether you can use it in any other way.they’ll tell many excuses for not taking back that chair….
