Impression on Dentist
This Saturday afternoon, I am spending my very valuable moment, away from busy job in consultant office. In the balcony of my apartment, I am sitting on my living chair having a health magazine on my right hand with a glass of orange juice. The page I open is about an article of teeth and its relation to smile. The information is apparently very comprehensive; however, I wonder how could old people, or at least people that don’t have perfect teeth, could smile? I myself confess that my teeth are not white enough since I sometimes smoke cigars and I am fond of coffee. I confess that my teeth are not that perfect; these two things have apparently affected the health and color of my teeth. This makes me hide my teeth when smile; and that is why I question myself as such.
On the magazine, I learnt that the nearby Stamford Dentist could help me whiten my teeth again, and even whiter and brighter than before. Frankly speaking, my childhood memory does not have good impression on dentist, but this one is worth trying I believe. The Dentist has perfect and complete equipments that could do that. And it is safe.
Sometimes my job needs my teeth; I mean that since I am a counselor I will always have many clients or people to interact with. Therefore, I must smile a lot; and my Mom said that the wider we smile (not laugh), the bigger chance of opportunity we will gain. And I have proven it myself, though my teeth still don’t cooperate well with me.
Selecting an Interior Design Professional for Home Remodeling
A quality designer is as important to a remodeling project as a builder is to a new home construction. If you decide to work with one, the designer should bring a wealth of expertise and product knowledge to the table to help you with your home improvement or new home construction project.
Finding a capable designer – good interior design consultants are like good therapists. They don’t tell you what to do, rather they guide you through a process of selecting options that best suite your style and provides the best outcome. Interior designers have to be good with more than just color, fabric, and furniture; an interior designer must be familiar with various building and remodeling materials, have budgeting skills, communicate well, and oversee the ordering, installation and maintenance of items within the room. So how do you find a good interior design consultant? Actually, the best way is through word of mouth and referrals. Talk to your family, friends and co-workers to see if any of them recently used an interior design specialist and if they were happy with the results. Interior designer web sites can be helpful, but also visit local builders and model houses to obtain recommendations from friends, family and others. Another great source for referrals can be your local furniture store. Many furniture mart retailers provide interior design referrals or have local interior designers that moonlight in the evening. Your local parade of houses or builder show rooms are also good sources.
Review the designer’s portfolio – You should interview a few interior design consultants before making your final selection. Be sure to review their portfolio including pictures of recent projects. Ask each designer about his/her education, training, licensed affiliations and other credentials. Ask for recommendations from friends, family and others and contact their prior clients to determine if they were happy with the results. It’s meaningful that you develop a amicable relationship with your interior design consultant. Be prepared to show multiple photographs of what you desire. This will help you communicate your desires and help you determine if the designer’s style aligns with what you are envisioning. Although most interior designers do many kinds of projects, some specialize in specific areas of interior design.
Active listening – Many interior interior decorators will appear to be listening, but then respectfully disregards your suggestions. This can be good and bad. It’s positive when the designer is very good at what he/she does, has taken the time to understand your overall objectives and then choose to disregards the suggestions that do not fit with their overal design plan you have previously approved. It’s bad when an inexperienced designer ignores your suggestions and then ultimately you are not happy with the end results. An experienced designer will create a delicate balance between the two. A designer must be able to balance their own tastes with their client’s tastes – and ultimately be willing to put the client’s tastes first. It is important that you feel the designer is listening to you. You should also feel comfortable discussing your budget and feel comfortable saying no. In the end, you need to feel like there was a common goal between you and the designer.
Experience wins – The ideal interior design consultant will have many years of experience working with builders, vendors and other suppliers. They ideally must have extensive knowledge in fabric, innovative appliances, furniture and other accessories. A good designer will keep form, color, scale, and arrangement in balance. After listening to your desires, they should be able to take you to the showrooms, fabric stores and other vendors that will supply you with furniture and accessories that will develop and complement your individual style. Selecting the right Interior Design Consultant will help ensure that when the home remodeling project is finished, you love the results.
